pretty complementing neighbours...

Neighbouring Dromana Hills homes have the same fence styles and one is overhung with roses...

And the rose laden fence has an interesting entry.
Notice how low the mailbox has been set.

Quamby

Just a little white wooden gate on a house at Balnarring Beach.
But the name on the gate fascinates me - especially as the house and gardens are quite elegant (but well screened - hard to photograph)  and sited on a double allotment.
There is a Quamby Estate in Tasmania.
Built in 1828, Quamby Estate is one of Tasmania’s most historically significant properties.
It was formerly the ancestral home of Tasmania’s first-born Premier, Sir Richard Dry.
There is a Quamby Homestead on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria and played a historical role in the emergence of Western Victoria.
Its history is HERE.
I wonder if this Balnarring property has some connection with one of these properties
- especially the last one,  as it is near ocean.

blue and white neighbours...

These neighbours in Dromana look as if they are sharing the fields of blue and white.
Only the dividing fence is grey.
